DARWIN STREET RESERVE

Public BBQ

Darwin Street Reserve presents itself as a charmingly eccentric neighbourhood park that has clearly captured the hearts of locals in unexpected ways. The compact playground caters specifically to the under-4 crowd, with features like a spinning octopus that delights the youngest visitors. Clean and well-maintained BBQ facilities accompany picnic tables, making it an ideal spot for family barbecues in the generous open spaces. The park's quirky character emerges through its devoted community - some residents have developed such affection for the space they've named cars after it, while others insist it's "too beautiful not to share" and plan group visits. Despite occasional calls for additional sports facilities like basketball courts to utilise the ample space, families consistently praise the tranquil atmosphere and suitability for toddler entertainment.
